Environmental policy
At Swegmark, as the first bra manufacturer in Europe, we have succeeded in being environment certified according to ISO 14001. That means that we have made more progress than our competitors in the field of environment. But that does not mean that we are going to rest on our laurels. Our business is built on three cornerstones: ISO 9001 quality certification, ISO 14001 environment certification and our Oekotex-certification. We also take full responsibility for ensuring that the environment and social conditions for our employees are first class.
Swegmark's environmental policy:
Swegmark will work for a minimal influence on the environment by means of total recycling - and producer responsibility, both in our own production and in cooperation with our customers and our suppliers.
Materials that threaten the environment, chemicals and energy shall always be evaluated and the best possible alternatives used. Everyone who works at the company shall have the best and safest working environment possible, with minimal risks.
We shall exceed the demands made by laws and other authorities and work for constant improvements within environmental areas. The objective is to avoid all negative effects on the environment.
This policy is familiar to all who work within the company and is accessible for the general public.
